Kongoni Mobile Tented Camp  have moved forward and upgraded our mobile Camp in the Serengeti National Park.

The Camp will have three different locations during the year determined by the movements of the wildlife that allow guests to always be located close to the action and 'photo-op's'.

Imagine driving through the midst of the largest concentration of migratory animals on the planet and bearing witness to their ancient annual cycle of life, violent death and rebirth. Between November and May, the Serengeti short-grass plains are the seasonal home of over 1.5 million wildebeest, a half-million gazelles, over 200,000 zebra, as well as giant eland and others. In the plains, their numbers increase by thousands with the birth of young, providing a potential moveable feast for the large predators who track them. Because wildebeests are such efficient grazers, they are constantly on the lookout for greener, rain-drenched pastures. In order to insure you and our other guests are always close to this never-ending natural drama, Kongoni Mobile Camp has reserved several unique locations in different parts of the vast Serengeti ecosystem.

Experience Comfort Where Hospitality takes care of your holiday & Leisure

Kongoni Mobile Camp has reserved three strategic breathtaking locations in different parts of the vast Serengeti ecosystem. From December to March, our camp is situated in the southern portion of the nutrient-rich, short-grass plains; from June to early July, we shift to the central section of the park where savanna meets woodlands; and finally, during the end of July to August, the camp relocates in the northern Serengeti around Lobo with its plethora of huge rock islands (called ‘kopjes’) to catch the end of the 6,000 km annual migration cycle as it crosses the crocodile-infested Grumeti River into the northern woodlands of Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve.
